Scotts Bio

 

            A fresh new face to the professional field of technical theatre, Scott Wilson is very excited to see what he can do for you.  As a resent graduate of Stephens College in Columbia Missouri Scott has learned a lot about the world of theatre. Shows ranging from Sweeney Todd to The Boyfriend, from Almost Maine to Gypsy, he has been apart of and helped with a lot of productions. He has not been just part of school productions; he has also been a great helping hand in the shop, on stage, and a designer at the professional level at Okoboji Summer Theatre.

 

About me

 

            As said I am very excited to see what can come of us working together to put together great and astounding productions. I have been a part of a wide range of productions.  From large to small, from school to professional I have done a lot.  Examples of small productions I have designed a set for a show called Precious Little, a lighting design for Desdemona A Story about A Handkerchief and a few songs for a dance concert on a thrust stage that can hold about 70 or so people. (insert sentence about designing on the main stage/ Boji).

 

I have not just been on the design side of productions.  During most of my time of schooling I have been very hands on in the shop.  Being in the conservatory program at Stephens College I have been in the shop learning and expanding my knowledge in the carpentry side of theatre.  From building large flats to building an half oval bar with a door that was very functional and will be useful for years to come. Like I said I have a lot of experience and I cannot wait to work with you and or your company.
